Using IRS and WC Media Together

Intensive Recruitment Services and Wednesday’s Child Media serve different roles in permanency efforts. IRS focuses on cases where previous efforts to identify permanency resources have been exhausted. Media support may be requested separately when appropriate, and use of one service does not require the other.

IRS

Relationship-based recruitment, relative and fictive kin searches, and case-specific permanency planning.

WC Media

Public-facing recruitment materials and storytelling support, when appropriate and approved.

An IRS referral does not automatically trigger media, and media requests can be made independently when appropriate.
