Meet Deklyn, a huge fan of all things science! Deklyn loves to watch science and technology videos on Youtube and to ask his “Google Home” questions about how everything around him works. This bright and inquisitive boy recently shared with us fun facts he learned about how Tesla Coils can make music using high voltage electrical currents.
When he’s not filling his brain with science knowledge, Deklyn loves to be active doing most things that other boys his age enjoy, including swimming; riding his scooter or bike; jumping on the trampoline and “camping” in a tent in his yard.
Deklyn can read on his own but finds connection with the people he loves by having them read to him. His current favorite stories include “Go Dog Go”, “Goodnight Moon” and anything related to wolves. He also enjoys drawing, card games, board games, and painting rocks. He loves cats and hopes that his new family has at least one for him to play with. Deklyn rarely watches tv and would much rather be active or spend his time learning something new.
Deklyn’s Permanency Team is searching for a two-parent home, where he can be the only or the youngest child in the family. Ideally, they would like to hear from home studied families who reside in the Treasure Valley area. The right fit for this sweet boy will be a family who is very active, structured and patient and who can commit to supporting his ongoing community services. Deklyn has a very strong relationship with his biological grandmother and has a younger sibling. A family who values and will support those relationships throughout his life will be a great match for him. Deklyn is a legal risk placement at this time.
If you are ready for a journey of love, mutual learning and adventure, we can’t wait to receive your inquiry about Deklyn!
