Meet Delilah and Thomas.

WCID# 51531719
Gender: 2 Siblings -Boy & Girl
Age: 14
Ethnicity/Race: White or Caucasian

Thomas is an energetic young man with a truly adventurous spirit and an “old school Rock” taste in music. Some of his favorite bands include the likes of Queen, ACDC and the Beatles. He can’t wait to involve his new family in his love of ziplining, collecting Hermit Crabs and catching frogs! Thomas wants everyone to know that he is really great at memorizing facts about animals and making new friends.

Thomas enjoys school, especially Science, Art class and PE. He owns a guitar that he’d like to learn to play and also hopes for a mom and dad who will help him get involved in Cub Scouts. Thomas daydreams of taking family trips to the beach (to collect new Hermit Crabs of course!); celebrating Christmas traditions from his past; swimming; camping; eating homemade burritos… and most importantly, the ability to be adopted with his older sister!

Big sister Delilah is resilient and uses her sense of humor to get through hard times. She is fun, spunky and not afraid to try new things and just be her genuine self. Delilah has so many varied interests that she is sure to be a great fit for just about any family! Though not a “sporty girl,” Delilah does love to be outdoors, particularly fishing, and would love to join a fishing club. She is currently in her school choir and participated in Drama in the past. Delilah is proud of her involvement in “Builder’s Club,” an organization that does community service projects.

Delilah loves having her hair and nails done; singing and dancing; shopping; hanging out with friends and eating burnt toast with jam. When asked about ways that she likes to help others, this quick-witted girl stated “I like to help people when they fall…I might laugh first, but I will always help them up!” Delilah is working really hard in school right now and has big plans for her future, including joining the Air Force and then going on to fly commercial airplanes.

Thomas and Delilah’s Permanency Team is only interested in hearing from home studied families in Idaho at this time, particularly those who reside in the Southern Idaho area. Families with trauma training, or experience and knowledge related to parenting children who come from hard places, would be a great fit for them. Thomas and Delilah have Native American heritage and will benefit from an adoptive family who will value, encourage and support cultural connections for them in the future. They are considered a legal risk placement at this time. If your family is ready for a ton of added laughter, love and fun with these two amazing siblings, we hope to hear from you soon!
