Short Bio About Gavin

This is Gavin, a charming teen whose biggest passion is skateboarding! Gavin tells us that he practices as often as possible and has big goals of becoming skilled at doing “crazy tricks” like you see on Nitro Circus! Ever the adventurer, Gavin is in search of an active Forever Family who might spend time mountain biking; camping; swimming; watching and playing both football and basketball; and going on family trips to explore new places! In his down time, Gavin enjoys playing adventure or racing type video games and strategy-based board games. Gavin likes school, especially Math and Science, because “Science experiments are just cool, and you have to know Math to be successful later on in life!” Like most teens, he is super excited about the possibility of learning to drive sometime soon. Gavin has a real interest in cars and would someday like to become either an auto mechanic or someone who gets paid to test drive cars and then write reviews about them.

When it comes to what he wants in a family, Gavin is looking forward to family time together spent shopping, traveling, or relaxing at home maybe watching the entire Fast and the Furious series! He loves receiving presents, especially nice clothing and shoes, and prides himself on taking really good care of his belongings. Gavin gets along well with other kids and finds it fulfilling to mentor his peers or younger children in things that he is good at.  Gavin has a great sense of humor and is always on the lookout for a new funny pun or meme. He wants prospective families to know that he considers himself a kind soul and that he’s just really excited that there are families out there who might want him to be their son!

Gavin’s Permanency Team is hoping to find a two-parent, traditional family, but is open to hearing from anyone who shares some interests with Gavin and thinks that they could be a wonderful fit for him. Gavin will benefit from caregivers who understand trauma; can be a strong educational advocate for him and who are open to the possibility of Gavin needing to continue living in their home past the age of 18 in order to complete his education. If you’re ready to set out on a huge adventure with this amazing young man as a part of your family, we look forward to receiving your inquiry for Gavin today!
