Meet Zach, an amazing young man who will steal your heart! Zach prides himself on being someone who offers random acts of kindness whenever he has the opportunity. He has a huge heart for the elderly and also for folks who are struggling with issues related to homelessness. This funny and well-spoken teen loves fishing, camping, farming, and working on cars. Zach dreams big and hopes to one day build a Mustang or a Camaro from the ground up! Some of his other favorite activities include listening to music like old-school Johnny Cash; watching fantasy action movies and tv shows like "Outer Banks"; reading or drawing Anime; playing video games and cooking. He especially loves pizza with white sauce, his Grandma’s corned beef, and pretty much anything with avocado on it!
Zach enjoys staying active by circuit training and playing basketball and is proud of the fact that he takes good care of his physical health. He'd love to try out wrestling in the future and also thinks it would be really awesome to get good at parkour, because life just doesn't provide a lot of other opportunities to run around jumping and climbing on stuff and not get in trouble for it! Traveling is another of Zach's passions and he has a list of places he would like to visit that includes Prague or Norway, due to his heritage and the scenery, and the Bahamas because he loves beaches and swimming! Zach aspires to one day become a pilot in the Air Force or a paratrooper.
Zach has been waiting a long time for the right family to come along and even though he's gotten older, he wants people to know that he still needs and wants a Forever Family of his own more than anything! Zach dreams of normalcy, just being able to eat meals, watch tv and do fun things on the weekend as a family. Zach is sure to thrive in a structured, calm environment where he feels heard and listened to. He wants parents who are caring and truly want him to be a part of their everyday life. Zach would prefer having two parents and is open to a mom and a dad, or to same sex parents. Zach and his Permanency Team are interested in hearing from Idaho families, as well as families who reside in other states. Zach will likely do best as the only or oldest child in the home and hopes that his new family will support his ongoing relationship with his grandparents, as they are a very important part of his life.
